2023 - Present Learning and Community Engagement Coordinator
Palm Springs Art Museum Palm Springs, CA
As the Learning and Community Engagement Coordinator, I cultivate and manage relationships between the museum, non-profit organizations, school districts, and regional libraries. I organize events such as private exhibition tours, art activities, and educational programming. In addition, I lead and assist with artist-led workshops, public lectures, and community outreach initiatives. Notably, I served as the lead for the David Hockney: Perspectives Should Be Reversed exhibition tour, guiding over 1,200 students from Riverside County.
03/2023 - 06/2024 Lead Art Educator
Desert X Art Club Palm Springs, CA
As the lead educator for Desert X’s pilot after-school program, I played a key role in curriculum development, implementing art projects that focus on foundational techniques, site-specific work, and public art. I worked directly with elementary and middle school students, tailoring lessons and activities to meet their diverse needs and interests. Additionally, I lead studio visits and exhibition tours, ensuring students had meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
03/2024 Community Workshop
Artistas Afuera! Joshua Tree National Park Association Joshua Tree National Park Joshua Tree, CA
I facilitated a community workshop where participants decorated bandanas with linocuts I carved, inspired by the desert landscape of the national park. Additionally, about 55 participants painted paper-mâché fruits and foods that I sculpted and prepared for the project. Joshua Tree National Park provided annual passes to all participants, many of whom had never visited the park before the event.

You Are Here Mural Palm Springs Art Museum Palm Springs, CA
As part of a collaboration with multiple artists, we painted a mural depicting a road map that highlighted landmarks and unincorporated areas throughout the Coachella Valley. The mural transformed an otherwise drab hallway leading to the community classrooms, creating a more inviting experience.

Traffic Box Artwork Palm Springs Public Arts Commission Sunrise Way & Tachevah Palm Springs, CA
After submitting two project proposals to the Palm Springs Public Arts Commission, I was selected to design and paint a mural on a traffic box at this public location. I also managed its upkeep, performing necessary retouching as needed.
